Good to know
- Gender is self-declared. Each person chooses "Male", "Female" or "Prefer not to say". We can't verify it. The Plus filter only matches you with people who chose the gender you picked — people who prefer not to say are never shown to a filter.
- Waiting times. With a filter on, you're only matched with people who fit it, so it can take longer when fewer people are online. We never quietly switch the filter off.
- Plus is tied to your device (there are no accounts). If you change browser or clear your data, use your redeem code or contact us with your payment receipt and we'll move it.
- Safety rules are the same for everyone. Plus members can be reported and suspended like anyone else.
Subscription terms
- Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
- Pakistan: you can also pay in rupees with JazzCash or Easypaisa (Rs 1,400 a month or Rs 14,280 a year, subject to change with the exchange rate). Send the amount to the wallet shown in the app, then enter the transaction ID. Plus is switched on as soon as we have checked the payment, usually within a few hours. Wallet plans don't renew automatically — you renew when you choose to.
- Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the receipt email or the payment provider's customer portal; Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- If you are unhappy, contact us through the complaints bot. Refunds are handled according to the payment provider's policy and the consumer law where you live.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details — we only keep your plan, expiry date and a payment reference (see our Privacy Policy).
- We may change prices in future; existing subscriptions keep their price until renewal, and we will tell you before any change applies to you.

Is Strangely really free?
Yes. Talking, matching, games, reading together, invites, friends and captions are all free, with no time limits.
Why charge for the gender filter?
It costs us nothing extra to run, but it changes who waits for whom. Charging a small amount keeps it fair, keeps the free experience balanced, and pays for servers and safety work.
Can I get a refund?
